Drew? Not too many Jews there. Not a bad thought, though...

go to HARVARD!

how about tulane, gw, or yeshiva

Yeshiva = way too many Jews. GW would be a safe match for me, but does it have a campus? As for Tulane, I'm not risking another Katrina.

Yeshiva = way too many Jews

...I thought you wanted a large jewish population?

Somewhat large. Not all-encompassing. Brandeis is pushing the limit, but there's still SOME diversity. As for Yeshiva...

is it just me or are some ppl acting like the fact that there are too many Jews at yeshiva is a bad thing? Of course, Yeshiva University is may not meet everyone's needs (what school does?), but it has a right to meet its mission to prepare students to be future leaders in the Jewish community. Is there anything wrong with that? While it may not be what the OP wanted, it's unfortunate and offensive to see anti-Semitic undertones.

The OP is the only one on this thread to suggest that there are too many Jews at Yeshiva. And I'm fairly certain the OP him/herself is a Jew. So you might want to turn down your sensitivity meter there....

I am a Jew and am proud of my heritage. I just don't want to be somewhere where I only see others of my kind. I desire at least SOME diversity.

Yeshiva has a very different feel and mission than other colleges such as Brandeis. Kids have a dual curriculum: secular subjects and Jewish subjects. The latter emphasizes study of ancient texts. You spend the morning studying one and the afternoon studying the other. It is a wonderful program for those who want/need such an emphasis. However, you really have to want it, or you could be miserable.
