Schools that do no accept SATs after HS

What schools do not accept SAT/ACT scores outside of HS graduation.

... other than NYU

UNC does, I just asked them the other day even though it isn't required for juniors.

All of the UCs, I believe.

I dont think UPenn does either..

WashU says college taken SAT scores are inadmissable.

Are you sure Upenn doesnt accept scores after HS, I didn't see anything like that on thier site.

i didnt even know that schools didnt accept scores that were taken in college. if a college says that you do not need to re-take the sat/act and just submit the previous scores, but doesnt say anything about not accepting them, the act i took in feburary should count, right? lol sorry i am crazy. i did a lot better and spent like $80 on it...it better count :)

that all depends. alot of LACs seem to let you turn in your highest score but larger universities kinda frown on that. at least that has been the case for most of my prospective schools.

i think alot of schools do not care about the SAT's after a certain amount of semester hours

Stanford wanted me to retake the SAT I and two IIs, but that was probably because my last scores were from the 80s. But after several semesters of college courses, the SATs do seem kind of redundant.

I'd guess it is there to keep the average up, look good for the school in some aspects.

Ah, yes, good point. :)

so in spite of the lack of schools being listed, I'm guessing most major schools will still accept scores post hs graduation.

hmm I really don't even believe those schools that say they won't consider your test scores received after high school. If you can improve greatly, prove it: they'll be impressed.

this is exactly what I am hoping for. I am hoping for a 100-150 point improvement where schools like WUSTL and NYU will see me as a student who not only improved in CC but through SATs, ECs and a few other aspects.

lethal venom..

I am not positive, but I just remember reading around some penn threads. Also, on their online app, you can't pick any scores from 2007.
