<p>Weighted grades are irrelevant in the admissions process anyway. Only your unweighted GPA matters.</p>
<p>You mentioned Dickinson above. One of my kids went there. They do not have a business major (they have something in international business, but I would generally not consider them a strong business school).</p>
<p>Starting the non-profit is not a hook. It is an interesting extra curricular. If it is REALLY significant in its impact, it could be more significant in your admissions process, but it has to be really a strong impact for that to happen. It is hard to make up for a low GPA at top schools. They really need to know that you can do the classroom work first of all.</p>
