Hi,

I'm from outside the US. I've been making my college list and find many liberal arts schools on the list. I've got many good results in maths and science. Does anyone knows of schools that consider science scores (SAT, external exams, etc) more seriously than most liberal art colleges. (I will need aid, EFC ~$10K)

I really like the idea of LACs but I know that with a low(ish) critical reading score (~600), an OK writing score (high 600s) on the SAT I and very very high maths and sciences scores (SAT II and external exams), I have a better chance at larger universities.

I will still apply to LACs, but I need to apply to larger places. I am interested in studying many non-science subjects, so I'm not interested in any "XYZ institute of technology".

Anyone knows any good universities,
1. with aid (EFC~ 10K) - LACs seems to have a lot of aid, any larger 'U's?
2. that are competitive, but within reach for someone with ~2000 on the SAT
3. that would appreciate good science scores. My English scores are the problem (only good score is TOEFL: ~115). I have done very well in a social science also.

Thanks so much!

PS: Will colleges and universities be scanning posts like these to find out about applicants? Do I need to be more ambiguous when I post?
