Schools with equestrian programs?

Hey all,

I’m applying to a variety of BSs this cycle, and although it’s not a deal-breaker, I am very interested in attending a school with an equestrian team. So far, I have noted that Culver, Thacher, Madeira, and Kent all have that- are there any more schools I am missing?

George School, Newtown PA.

Thank you!

Dana Hall School, Wellesley MA has a very good program. Facilities are right on campus.

Thanks for your input! Seems very nice.

Grier’s riding program is highly ranked regionally.

Thanks for your help!

Ethel Walker’s, Loomis Chaffee

Oh, can’t believe I missed Loomis- thanks!

Look at Stoneleigh-Burnham, Foxcroft and Miss Porters, too.

Sewanee and St. Lawrence University. Oh, sorry! I see you’re looking into prep schools. Oh, well, looking ahead

Thank you  @PhotographerMom haha, maybe in a few years @inthegarden

I think Williston has a program too.

Nice, thanks! @1012mom

Chatham Hall, Ethel Walker, Foxcroft…

Kent School also has a program, I think.

oops, missed a ton- thanks guys! @CaliMex @potterpoints

As stated above, many school have fine riding programs. I would definitely encourage you to look into the outstanding ones at Kent (co-ed) and Ethel Walker (if open to all girls’ school).

Some of the programs are more 3 day oriented (Kent) while others like George are more hunter/jumper focused. (At least the last time I looked at them.) It sort of depends on what interests you.

thanks guys! @judbeeski @gardenstategal I’ll def look into those.
