Are we listing both BFA and BA theatre program admissions info? If so Pepperdine University holds on campus auditions for their BA. (You may be able to submit an audition tape)

For Loyola Marymount Univeristy’s BA theatre program you have to submit an audition tape to gain entrance into the program

Rolling Admissions – U of Arts, Point Park, Shenandoah, Evansville, UNCSA (tech only), Ithaca (most hear in March but a select few get a rolling admission), CCM, Coastal Carolina University (makes a few offers on a rolling basis), Rider

I think it makes sense to include audition based BAs like UCLA and Fordham.

Actingdad would audition by tape be included. There is no live audition at Loyola Marymount but you do have to send in your audition via dvd.

Rolling Admissions – U of Arts, Point Park, Shenandoah, Evansville, UNCSA (tech only), Ithaca (most hear in March but a select few get a rolling admission), CCM, Coastal Carolina University (makes a few offers on a rolling basis), Rider

On Campus Auditions Only – Elon, Shenandoah, Adelphi, Arcadia, Florida State, Virginia Commonwealth University, James Madison University, Pepperdine University (may be able to send audition via dvd if cannot get to the school)

I think this thread should be for any auditioned program. There aren’t so many auditioned BAs that it would get terribly cluttered. I think we could leave out schools where the audition is only for scholarships.

Let’s add three more categories:

Can submit DVD instead of in-person: Pepperdine, Adelphi

Can schedule personal appointment for audition: Adelphi, SUNY New Paltz (BA)

Pre-screen necessary:

We could also start threads on some of these lists individually - whatever would help upcoming applicants. I believe we have a thread on schools that are at Unifieds locations “unofficially,” don’t we? Or schools that offer walk-ins at Unifieds? All of these lists would be very helpful - if the info is confirmed, not just “pretty sure.”

I am adding Montclair to rolling and EmmyBet’s new categories.

Rolling Admissions – U of Arts, Point Park, Shenandoah, Evansville, UNCSA (tech only), Ithaca (most hear in March but a select few get a rolling admission), CCM, Coastal Carolina University (makes a few offers on a rolling basis), Rider, Montclair

Thanks, photomom!

I’m not sure what the “March Decision/No Call Back Weekend” category means. Aren’t most of the regular admissions notifications in March, i.e. by April 1st? Does this mean very early March - which I know during this stressful time does feel like “early” notification? :)

Yes, March decision/no call back weekend is most places isn’t it? That’ll be a very long list.

Do we need another category for the likes of Loyola Marymount’s BA where you need to audition but not live only tape?

Hey what about Montclair’s BA needing an interview to get into the program. Is that a live on campus interview?

It is a live, on campus interview (BA at Montclair).

I am adding Wagner College to On Campus Auditions only

Seems to me that Oklahoma City University falls into the on-campus category. But someone with more know how might want to confirm.

Added the pre-screens people have discussed here, so it doesn’t look so empty:
