Hi, I will be considering what schools to apply to this fall...
What are the best undergraduate PreMed programs that will better prepare me for admission to medical schools such as U Mich Ann Arbor, BROWN, Duke, and the University of Pennsylvania? I understand that some undergrad schools have some "grade inflation"? Which schools would that be?

I believe that absolutly any UG will do. In addition, you do not nee to be in pre-med program at all. Any major will be fine. It is all up to a person to get great stats and medical ECs. You will not be able to prepare academically for Medical School academics. The only ones who soemwhat prepared in one aspect are Masters of Anatomy. No UG academics comes anywhere close to Medical school academics. By my D’s comparison, they exists in different universes.

…couple advises, get your UG diploma as cheaply as possible (free is the best), unless you have unlimited resources, then ignore this on.
Advise #2 - Plastics is the most selective specialty. To get to Plastics residency you will need super duper stats, like the top rank in your Medical School class, very high score in Step 1 exam. At this point, I would not focus too much on getting into Plastics, and more so, I would definttely not use it as a personal signature.

I’m not sure that undergrads prepare students for med school. They offer basic science courses. The MCAT doesnt have high level science on it. Schools dont teach to the MCAT exam.

Dont focus on a specialty nor any particular SOM.

I just saw your stats on another thread. There seems to be a disconnect between your stats and your desired schools.
