Schools with most financial aid

Can anyone please tell me which schools give most aid to international students for undergraduate studies.I am from Pakistan and want to get admission in USA.Please reply because i am confused about applying in which type of colleges from where i have most chance of getting aid?

go to edupass , then financial aid, then financial aid for undergraduates. knock yourself out. :P

There are currently only 6 US schools that do not consider need for international and offer generous aid. They are of course schools nearly impossible to get into including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Amherst and Williams.

I think Williams no longer offers need-blind admissions for internationals. But that doesn’t mean that they won’t aid international students, does it?

Georgetown is need blind as well, however they do not guarantee that they would meet your need, and they usually don’t. Also, there are many any colleges that are not need blind but offer aid for internationals. Bigger, and more famous schools give out more, but you can check it at many websites including the one mentioned above.

You might wanna have a look at small, private liberal arts colleges, if you are into that kind of education because, although they are usually not need blind, they have money to give out especially if you are someone who would make the place more diverse.

Just to give you some motivation, I got accepted to and now attend a liberal arts school which is not need blind, but offers financial aid for international students. The total fee of attendance is over $50,000/year. I only have to pay a couple of thousands of dollars I do not have 2100+ SAT scores, Im not an athlete, nor a legacy, and my EFC (expected family contribution) was higher than the amount I actually have to pay. So there is hope, but you gotta work very hard, and don’t forget, that college admissions is more like a lottery, especially when it comes to top schools. You have no clue why some people get in and why some others don’t. And the admissions officers cannot answer this question either. There is no formula. But that’s the way it is. Work hard, because you are basically gonna have to persuade colleges to spend tens of thousands of dollars on you and it’s not easy as an international (except for the few need-blind colleges, but it’s extremely hard to get into those schools anyway).

Remember…you have to qualify for aid. Schools that give a lot of aid will still expect your family to pay some/all of your costs if their income/assets indicate that they should.
