What would one do if one attended a school with no business majors? I've heard that math/econ is a good combo to replace that, but there must be some others too. Maybe econ/sociology, or econ/international relations or public policy? Anyone have experience with this sort of thing?

it all depends on what your goals are. keep in mind that MBA programs are opened to anyone with a bachelors degree in any field. if you plan on attending graduate school pursue your interests as undergrad itll really turn you into a well rounded candidate for a good MBA program.

Well, I plan on going to grad school, but I want to be employed in the meantime. Will any of those major combinations make me employable? Or anyone for that matter?

For schools without UG business programs, econ is a popular substitute. In terms of employability, what kind of job do you want? Most of the jobs that business majors get are the kind that people from just about any major can enter.

Just do economics or industrial engineering....

Isn't industrial engineering one of those majors with major grade deflation and lots of hard work? I don't work that hard in high school, so it would be a big shock to go into that. And isn't an economics major more flexible? Lol, I guess I just made up my mind.

do econ, poli sci, gov, IR, or math. the things you already said are all good options. but if i were u i would just go to a school w/ ug b-school

Well, this might sound strange, but I'm not fond of the idea of business school to go into business. That's what everyone does. And often the selection of business majors is rather limited. It's usually something like marketing, management, administration, and accounting/finance. I don't know that I'd like any of those that well, except maybe accounting. But everyone does that.

why poli sci?
