<p>Hey, don't be worried by the title, Rice is still my first choice :) The thing is, I'm trying to see how my grades are for Rice, and since I don't have my SAT results yet, I was thinking I could compare my grades to those on Naviance. We have a weird grading system so I can't just compare online :( The problem is, we have one student on Naviance who got into Rice, and they had a really high average, but lowish SAT (2080). The students who applied and got rejected all have lower GPAs, not awful, but definitely not Rice quality. What schools have similar admissions, where a student would most likely be accepted at both, or rejected at both? This way I can better compare myself.</p>

<p>You already applied to Rice? If so, don’t worry about trying to project your admissions decision. In the end it’s a waste of time, just relax and enjoy your senior year. :D</p>

<p>Ah, okay. Hmm, well it’s hard to say you can find a school at which you will likely be rejected in addition to being rejected from Rice or vice versa. At this level of admissions, nothing is sure like that. However, I would say to look at Vanderbilt, Emory, Notre Dame, Johns Hopkins, WUSTL, etc. Those are probably some of the schools that could provide some idea of how you’ll do at Rice too, although as I said at this level you’ll have a hard time with what you’re looking for.</p>
