well, out of the more "prestigious" ones, i turned down ucla, university of chicago and tufts. and if i got into berkeley i would have turned that down too! :)

Aw, that makes me that much more proud to attend UCSD :)

Ucb, Uci, Ucsb, Ucd

cal, ucla, uci, ucsc, ucdavis

UCLA, Johns Hopkins, USC, Rice

and possibly University of Pennsylvania (I still haven't decided between Penn and UCSD yet).

Oh yeah, I'm also BioE/Regents

COLLEGE!

mang hard decision

i am in bioE too but not regents how is PENN ranked in bioE

USC, Pomona College, UCLA, UCI, UCR, NYU, Northeastern, Reed

UCI, NYU, Cal, Boston U, Pepperdine :)

life...: you rejected the top schools i wanted...UCLA and Pomona College!!

safewayrules- Penn isn't as highly ranked in bioE as UCSD (though it's still in the top 10). But yeah, only 4 more days until I have to choose :o

Go to SD, COLLEGE! There are so many other derivatives of BE that are highly ranked in UCSD, too, so even if you don't want to do Engineering anymore, there are plenty of other similar majors available here that are highly renowned.

money talks as well, but PENN is so prestigious
A big reason i am goin to UCSD and turning down my dream school UCLA is because of the whole bioE program (prof, unbelieveable funding, research opp). It might not be so prestigious now but by four years by the time we graduate it will be.

"Slorg, did you get into UCSD's Medical Scholars program?"

I was offered a chance to apply but I don't qualify because I'm not an official California resident.

Anyway, I don't even know what tracks I want to pursue in college.

Penn's rep is built on its biz school, Wharton. Other than that, it is undistinguished.

Jacobs Scholar?

Claremont Mckenna, NYU, UCSB, UCI, Lewis and Clark, U of Rochester

wow i feel like the dumbest person here haha. the best school i got into was ucsd.

UCI, UCSB, UCSC Wanted USC but I think this is exactly where I belong.

among others, UCI, UCSB, Chapman University (provost scholarship), various CSUs (with scholarships), blah, blah, blah.

USC, UCSB, UCSC

ucsb, uci, ucd
urbana champaign, purdue, emory (oxford), and some other -ish
