I attend one of the best private schools in my state, which requires an entrance exam to get into. I did very well on the entrance exam, but I guess I didn't do well enough on the section they look at for placement in honors classes. Instead of being in biology freshman year, I had to take the review course of one quarter each of bio, chem, physics, and computer lit. I took bio sophomore year, chem junior year, and am taking advanced physics senior year. Will the fact that I haven't been able to take honors courses in science or have only taken 3 years of "real science" hurt my chances of getting into a highly selective school?
