Science Fair and the ivy league

So i need some help. I'm doing a continuation on a project i did about the production of ethanol last year. I'm desperately in need of ideas for a contination topic. I was thinking someone along the lines of testing to see which polysaccharides and oligosaccharide break down best by hydrolysis and the addition of an enzyme, but i need other ideas. Please help me. Pretty please. Science fair is one of my favorite activities, but i'm currently having a brain fart(lol) help. This project could likely give me the push i need to be accepted into the ivy league.

No offense, but you should really think of this on your own. It’s your project that you’ll be getting credit for.

I think this is in the wrong forum. But, I would suggest talking to one of your science teachers in school, or looking around for a professor / scientist to mentor you. Someone who is an expert in the field that you’re interested will probably have good ideas about a continuation project you could do. (I, for one, got lost after the second super long word in your post.)

Disclaimer: I know practically nothing about science

This sounds like a fine idea to me. However, I would just like to ask if there is a greater purpose to this: if you can connect it with a real world issue, you’d have a very interesting topic. Are you interested in the breakdown of lipids? That could make for an interesting discussion on diet pills. :)

And by the way, don’t do a science project just because you want to get into an Ivy League school. There are far more fine institutions outside of that outdated athletic conference.
