Hey everyone,
So for my senior year, I need to decide what science class to take by Friday. I am highly leaning towards AP Environmental Science, as I am very interested in Biology, but I already took AP Biology this year in conjunction with Honors Physics. My school offers all four AP science classes. I am not doing well in Honors Physics, and while I feel like I understand most of the concepts, it is still very difficult for me, and I hear AP Physics is very hard at my school, so it is probably not be for me. I enjoyed Honors Chemistry, but I hear the teacher for AP Chemistry is pretty terrible. From what I hear, the entire class will get 40s or 50s on tests and every test has to be scaled by 30-40 points, so I feel like I wouldn’t be learning much, which is why I chose Environmental Science. I would try to take both Chemistry and Environmental Science, but I would be forced to get rid of my elective, Advanced TV Honors, which I have wanted to take since I was a freshman and took the pre-requisite courses. If it makes a difference, I plan to major in Molecular Biology and eventually get into Genetics.
This is the rest of my schedule:
AP English Lit
AP US Government
AP Calculus AB
Honors Band
Honors Advanced TV
