I've taken AP Chemistry and have received an A in the course, but I'm not very good/do not like science in general.

With that being said, which of these classes is the best to take my senior year? AP Statistics, Physics Honors, or AP Enviromental Science. Note: AP Physics B is offered at my school and I am able to take the course, but like I said, I'm not good/do not like science.

Does the fact that Statistics and Environmental Science are APs mean I should take them over Physics Honors?

My counselor said I should continue with science. I would much rather take AP Stats - mostly because it will be more useful to me in college and because it’s an AP - but he said that the top schools like to see the “holy trinity,” chemistry, biology, and physics.

I’d go with Physics Honors personally, just to have bio/chem/physics. Then again, if you think you can tough it out for a year, take AP Physics.

I would definitely go with Physics Honors. Physics is really a different kind of science than bio and chem. I wasn’t a huge fan of either of them and then I took Physics, fell in love with it, and discovered my college major. Environmental science is just like bio, and stats is just a plain waste of time. I can honestly say Statistics is the most boring subject I’ve ever studied. Plus colleges love to see physics on your application even if you’re not a big science person. I would definitely go with honors over AP though because if you find that you like it and you’re good at it, you can learn a couple extra topics on your own and take the AP exam. I did that and I got a 4, but I definitely would have gotten a 5 if i didn’t have to cram for chem the day after physics. good luck!
