Science Olympiad study tips?

Hello, everyone! I know there are a few threads here for Science Olympiads, but they are a bit more specific than the one my school recently started.
I’ve never participated in an SO (and our first competition is in March, and I probably should have started studying earlier rather than focusing solely on SATs, but I digress), and I’m not quite sure what the most effective method of studying is - I’m really stressed out about this and I’d like to do well, even if I don’t place in the top three in an event.

My events are Protein Modeling, Invasive Species, and Chem Lab - Chem Lab is the only one I’ve been “studying”, simply by extensions, since I’m currently AP Chem.

Thank you for any help!

Read everything you think may be relevant. Make your notes as amazing as you can. For Invasive Species, it’s best if your binder is self-produced, but if you’re running out of time, just use Wikipedia.
