Science SAT Subject Tests

Among the three, Physics, Chem, Bio...

Which seems to be easier in terms of content? and I'm not talking about the curve [physics].

Which would be better for someone to study alone without a honors/AP course?

bump (10char)

biology...it's all memorization...

what if one sucks at memorization?

then that sucks for that one person..

damn.

any more advice?

bump

Biology is probably most doable if you're not taking a class. And if you suck at memorization, then don't take it.

so bio is the easiest..

do all of them require good memorization skills?

thanks in advance.

bump10chars))

bio is easy since there is a set amount of fact that if you know you will get an 800. i havent taken chem but it seems to deal with CONCEPTS not mermoizing

Regardless of which science test you decide to take, doing well on the bio, chem, or physics SAT II tests requires a basic and solid understanding of the concepts which at first must be memorized. asdfsystema: my advice to you is to take at least one year of either bio, chem or physics and see how comfortable you are with the subject until taking the test. Unless you are a senior, there's no need to rush. Take the tests in June when the concepts are still fresh.

I disagree. Biology is the hardest subject in my opinon, harder than Chemistry or Physics. I got a 630 in Biology but a easy 780 in Chem. Biology = death

I thought that Biology was a pretty easy subject. My teacher didn't teach anything but I was able to self-study it pretty easily. It does involve a lot of memorization, though.
