I didn’t get a lot of A’s on the science. Anyone else?

Wow. You’re definitely right. Solution A was acidic, Solution B was basic.

ya i got A was acidic and B was basic (i think that was answer choice A not too sure)

I turned to science, and thought I was in the reading section. Ran out of time.

The last one was information overload.

ok there was one question on dog cells i think… was the answer a or b?

@BryMan92 I hope you didnt try to read the experiements before the questions, the best strategy is to read the questions and try to find the answer after

@Cowking: I generally don’t, I only read it if it asks about the experiment apparatus or something that the graphs can’t tell me. :)

i used to read the whole thing but about mid way though the science section i found out the ACT is like 10x harder then the mcgraw hill practice tests and realized you really cant dispite all my friends telling me exactly that, you cant read everything on sci

@ nitro

I have Mcgraw as well. It sucks, there are at least a few mistakes every test. And yes, it’s too easy.

The PR is closer, it’s science section is a bit too hard, while math too easy, and rest about the same.

what was the answer to the question asking about which phase would have the most chromosomes in a cell? or something along those lines…i forgot the actual context of the question.

i was between after meiosis I
or after meiosis II

i put meiosis I though…

yea god there were so many **** ups, it was like un-takeable, math was a joke.

i found reading and sci to be much easier then on this ACT too but mabye thats just me

for the sample 1 soil and growth one…did any of u have the answer “less than 0.2”

what did you get for the last question about 6 double chromosome…

@ caramel22

6

the initial was ACIDIC… the added was basic.

i think that’s what i out…was there an option 12

the question about dog cells. i dont think there was any, but i think there was one with dog cells as the answer. something to do with the beginning of meiosis. i really cant remember except that i picked the one that had the word dog in it, and the other two choices had the word human in it. i might be wrong though.

i think i failed the science part. graphs give me a headache.

did any of you guys put an answer in science “less than 0.2” for sample 1

okay so for the meoisis passage…the hardest thing on the test for me…cuz no time…there were 8 questions…do you remember any other…
- answer: sperm
- answer: horse
- answer: dog
- gene x
- double 6 chromosome
8.

caramel: wasnt gene x part of the question? i thought the answer was 1

also, which dog answer was it, because there were 2 choices that had dog

is there any choice 2.) could be alligator? and was 1 of the answers 4?
