Science-y?

I've been using that word to describe Rice for as long as I've been interested, and seeing as I am only interested in social sciences and other liberal arts, a science focused campus would kind of be problematic. So, is Rice well respected for these programs as well as for their science? If I were to go to grad school or law school after graduating from Rice, would other schools consider Rice's liberal arts program competitive?

Yes - very. Looking at the sheer numbers of graduates, the largest number graduate in the social sciences.

I’m a psych/cog sci double major here and I feel that I will be well prepared for grad school when i graduate. I dont know exactly what area in the social sciences you are thinking about, but in psych at least there are a lot of great opportunities for research and becoming close with professors. if you have any more questions feel free to pm me.
