Science?

I'm currently a junior in high school. Freshman year was Biology.Sophmore year was Introduction to General Science. This year I am in Honors Chemistry. Next year I am debating between taking AP Chemistry or Honors Physics. At my school the Honors Physics is harder. What should I take? What does a good college look for. My schedule next year is AP German 4, AP Calculus, AP English, Law, Gov/Econ, Religion. Also, I have a 4.00

Physics. It dovetails spectacularly with calc. Seriously you’ll be learning a lot of overlapping topics. But if you don’t get them big that could be a problem. Are you a math person??

Physics is basically all math and understanding the concepts and Math calculus intersect
Chem and calc sort of do and sort of don’t its more Calc and Physics. Physics though gets very hard if you don’t understand it
im in AP Physics and I was lost for a while than I studied really hard and im back in

Take physics, schools like to see at least one year of bio, chem and physics.

All right! I’m taking physics. I really want to keep my 4.0 though. What do reccomend that I do this summer. Should I study up on my physics? Read the text book? Or just wait until the actual class starts and then start to focus?

Physics is probably the most important science in that every other science (bio, chem, etc.) is simply a branch of physics.

If you like chem, take ap chem. colleges should understand if there are a limited amount of classes and your taking what you’re interested in. have physics as a back up.

Physics is a GREAT class. At my school, we do bio, chem, then physics, and after having a year and a half of physics, chem and bio just make so much more sense.
I highly recommend Honors Physics, just as a way to expand your mind, as cheesy as that sounds.

Yes my school doesn’t offer many classes. It is a small, private school, but it offers me the best education I can get in my area.

You really don’t need to prep over the summer. Personally my school does not give summer work for honors science classes (only AP) and everybody still does well. If you truly want to prep just review some basic concepts, either way it will be easy enough to learn when the school year starts.

I took honors physics! I’m really excelling and I’m top of the class! It’s tough but interesting!

Awesome! I love Physics! :)
