Further proof that when I say that Stanford science/math is the best or tied with MIT, it is. Take that, Harvard!

Where's Upenn?

How any university can beat MIT, Caltech and UCB in any of the sciences is beyond my believe

upenn definately has one of the top medical schools in the country. ATLEAST top 10

what's the ranking methodology

here's US News' top 10 medical schools to compare. I'm surprised that scienceweek did not include Upenn.

Harvard University (MA)

Johns Hopkins University (MD)

Washington University in St. Louis

University of Michigan–Ann Arbor

Columbia U. College of Physicians and Surgeons (NY)

This is actually quite accurate. I agee that Penn should be among the top 10 in Medicine. And UCSF is part of UCB, so Cal also has 7 top 10 departments in the Sciences. Otherwise, it looks pretty good to me.

Alexandre:

UCSF is not tied to Berkeley; it's its own campus, and was started at such back when the University merged/bought it out of financial difficulties. At certain times, however, Berkeley has offered a ~20 student med program on its campus (first two years) with dual enrollment and transfer to UCSF (last two years).

where the heck is penn lol!!! its med school ain't that sh!t

yeahh.. wth?

not only is it not sh!t, it's been high regarded and has been on usnews for a couple of years (and TOP 5!)

shiiz, see below if it answers your question.
