I'm applying to colleges such as Harvard, Columbia, Northwestern, JHU...etc. that all allow score choice.

My first SAT sitting: M-690 CR-750 W-800 (2240)
My second SAT sitting: M-720 CR-800 W-800 (2320)

As you can see I don't have superscore, because all my best sections are in my second sitting. So would it just make sense to send the second sitting to colleges, or should I sent both to display my improvement over time?

This is a no-brainer – send just your 2nd sitting scores, as each subsection is higher and your overall score is higher. Colleges don’t want to see improvement in scores – they want TOP scoring students. Why give admissions the lower scores when you don’t need to, as those scores could possibly work against you!
