Do admissions officers see a difference between someone who got say, a 2100+, but had a really high score in one section and a low score on another, and someone who got a 2100+ with around a 700ish on each section? I am contemplating taking the SAT one more time, but then again, if my evenly distributed scores make it seem better, I might concentrate on better things. Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.

I hate doing this, but...

bump

Some colleges take the 'superscores', the best of each section, so I would retake if you haven't already taken it 3 times. As long as you don't decrease more then 30 pts. in a section. I would say it is better to have 'moderately high' scores in all 3 sections then '1 ultra-high' and 2 'a little high' scores, unless its like a really high math and your applying to major in math/engineering.
