I'm sure this question has been posed before, but I could not find an answer by searching the forum so I apologize if this is a repost.

I was just wondering if the deadlines posted on collegeboard saying that certain universities require official SAT/ACT score reports by 1/1 measn that the reports have to be sent by collegeboard by that date, or actually received by the university? As in, if I sent my scores to Yale through collegeboard on the due date the application/score report, will they be considered late because of the extra processing time? Any ideas as to if this will really affect my chances, etc.?

I was wondering the same thing. I tried searching through a few threads on here, which claimed that most colleges are loose on the deadlines for test scores/teacher recs, etc. To my understanding, if they get your scores by mid-January (assuming Jan 1 deadline), you should be fine. Although if anyone knows any better, clarification on the topic would be nice.

i sent my scores on rush delivery on the 31st lol. for dartmouth, i tried emailing them to see if it was ok but i got an automated message saying that the admission office is closed until the 4th even though the deadline for SATs is the 1st. i really hope it's ok because my scores won't arrive until sometime next week :/

i was wondering this too. i rush reported mine and they won't get there until next week. im hoping this is fine.. i mean, they're going to be flooded with mail so hopefully they'll understand..
