Scoring on the SATs

Some people have just told me to look at the PR books to figure out the scoring, but since they don't have the same number of questions in their practice tests as the real thing, I wasnt sure. Does anyone know for sure what how the scoring is done. For example, does one wrong on the math equal 800? 790? etc. Any comments would be appreciated! Thanks!

The scoring chart is created prior to the test. They look at the percentage of people who got each question correct. If by any chance a very small percentage of people gets a question right, the score might look like this: 800, 800, 780. But it is rare for an 800, 800, on the SATI Math, buts its very possible.
