<p>The answer is really to not make it be the end of all end’s - Do not start with a “date”, start with a little side trip. Together in AP Economics? Ask her to go on a little experiment with you. Go to a supermarket and both shop for two complete meals for a family of four - as cheap and healthy as you can think of. Compare notes (before the cash register of course) compare what food came locally and benefitted your local economy. Is it economically savvy to buy local products.
