What are my chances of getting into San Diego State University?
Im an in-state resident
I have a weighted 3.8 and a 23 ACT. I applied as a German major. Please help! Thanks

Are you from San Diego? San Diego State gives an admissions bump to San Diego residents. Otherwise it doesn’t matter if you are from Out of State or in California. They use a formula which takes into account your SAT or ACT and your GPA. With a 3.8 GPA, I would say you have a very good chance of being accepted. For last year’s class the Average high school GPA was 3.62, the Average SAT score was 1080 and the average ACT score was 23.6. Check your portal, sometimes it says you are admitted on your portal before you get the email or paper notification.
