does anyone know if it is sent out alphabetical
No, decisions are not sent alphabetically.
Does anyone know if intl applicants here later than domestic applicants or is it at the same time? And have any intl applicants heard back yet?
I wonder if it is sent regionally? No one from my School or area heard yesterday that I know of…
I honestly do not know how they send out decisions other than local in-service area applicants get priority but also know locals that have not heard.
Would you mind sharing her stats?
Is there a STATs only page for SDSU that you have seen?
No, stats only page but you are welcome to start one.
Mine got into. CalPoly SLO but rejected from Long Beach. Waiting on SDSU and the UCs. Biology
@Gumbymom is SDSU this year simply using CSU GPA to make its decisions since SAT/ACT not considered? Understood that sorting also happens by major and local students get extra points. Just wondering how you think determinations are being made.
hey! Just coming back to say I got in for polisci and I know u were also majoring in that but I know ppl from other majors who got in! Good luck :”)
Wondering if poli sci majors could share stats. D22 will be applying for poly sci next year.
SDSU will use CSU capped weighted GPA, # of a-g courses, HS course rigor, Geographic location, Preparation Towards Indicated Area of Study (ie. Math and Science grades and classes for Engineering majors) and * Additional Factors
Special consideration is given to students who have overcome life obstacles, participated in college preparatory programs, and attend high schools within SDSU’s local admission area.
How will they know if the student overcome life obstacle?
Good question and I cannot answer that. I am assuming they are aware of academically disadvantaged schools/socially disadvantaged students in the state so they might use that information but since there are no essays, other life obstacles cannot be addressed.
