On SDSU’s website, the instructions for calculating the EI are either:
(GPAx800) + SAT
or
(GPA x 200) + (ACT composite X10)
Am I doing this wrong? I get a wildly different number using these two formulas.
What EI would you have for a HS GPA of 4.1, and an ACT of 32?
I get an 1140 ACT EI. For SDSU, an EI of 1000+ was competitive, but looking at last years #’s, I would say a 1050+ would make an applicant competitive for all but Nursing. The EI thresholds can fluctuate from year to year dependent upon the stats of each in-coming Freshman class. Also within majors, the EI’s can change and SDSU does not publish their thresholds like SJSU.
Television and new media major with e.i. of 4400? What are chances?
Computer Science major with sat ei of 4250. chances?
Enviro Sciences Major with SAT EI of 4380- chances??
