The title is pretty much self explanatory. I was wondering if there were some graduating seniors who wanted to sell their bikes or if someone knew where I could buy a bike, that is not that expensive but still good quality?

Check out https://www.dormbikes.com/school/, its run by current/former students, prices are reasonable and they deliver/assemble/etc.

You can also find a bike at any sporting goods store, Walmart, or Target as well as on Craigslist.

There is also a bike shop in the UV however their business is sorta shady and you can take that however you want.

There are also a couple on Vermont.

Check craigslist or try posting on the gateway/west 27th facebook walls and see if anyone there wants to sell their bikes.

Thank you so much =-) That’s a big help =-)

Lyon Bikes on Vermont and 24th is a good place near campus to find a bike. As a lot of people have stated on here in the past, the bike shop in the UV is notoriously overpriced and the means by which they procure their bikes is suspect. Lyon is family owned and reasonable.

Craigslist is also a good option. You shouldn’t pay more than $120 for a cruiser.

oh this is perfect, I’m actually selling my bike now! I’m a sophomore but I’m moving to another apartment so I don’t need my bike. here’s the craigslist post:

[Women’s Black Firmstrong Beach Cruiser 26" VERY GOOD CONDITION](http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/bik/3088481878.html)

Try the Class of 2014 and various school Facebook pages.

It’s actually called “Lion Bikes” but yeah. There’s also another small bike shop open on Vermont, not quite as north as Lion bikes. Don’t go to the UV bike shop, the owner is crazy and so are the prices.

The two bikes I’ve had I both got at different bike reclaim/repair operations, for about $60. They were kind of shady, but the stuff was good and can’t argue with the price. Find a friend with a car to help you go and bring it back.
