Second Baccalaurete schools in Southern California

I am not happy with my major and I think it is too late to change my major because of my junior status. I am planning on doing a second baccalaureate but I do not know many schools that accept second baccalaureates. Does anyone have a list of universities that offer second baccalaureates for engineering/computer science ?

If you are unhappy with your major, take a leave of absence for second semester, and work on a transfer list. You will almost certainly need to spend a full two years at the new place, but you would have to do that for the second bachelor’s degree. 4 1/2 years of tuition/fees/housing/meals/misc is much cheaper than six. Not to mention that the only aid you would be eligible for when completing that second bachelor’s degree would be unsubsidized federal loans. Most people who complete a second bachelor’s end up working full time and taking the coursework one course at a time in order to be able to pay for it.

If you are fine with a distance-ed format, both www.umuc.edu and http://www.worldcampus.psu.edu/</a> offer IT programs. UMUC will accept up to 3 full years of transfer credit from a 4 year institution, and PSU will accept about two and a half.
