I am going to be attending Louisiana State University next fall and plan on majoring in international trade/finance, an economics major.

I will have enough credit from testing out of classes, however, that I can either take on a second major or graduate early. I would also like to study abroad.

My goal is to go on and get an MBA. I may or not work after graduation, but would eventually like to end up working for a multinational corporation that will send me overseas (I know this is a common ambition and not easy).

Here are my options:
- Graduate in 5 semesters with my international trade/finance degree

Graduate with both a degree in Spanish and international trade/finance
Will a Spanish major go well with my intended major? How much of a difference will it make in obtaining my goal? Is fluency in a language that important?

Graduate with a B.S. in international trade/finance plus a M.S. in accountancy
Getting the M.S. would add 42 hours to my courseload, a little more than adding a second major. I would still graduate in four years.

Do you have a better alternative?

In addition, I would like to study abroad during college. If I take a few Spanish language classes and study abroad, will that be good enough in place of a Spanish major (if it makes me competitive at all)?
