<p>So how have people's experiences been with getting secondary school records (in this case for junior transfer)? How did you/how do you plan to approach your old school about this, what were their reactions in terms of transcript processing, did you run into any problems, and mostly especially how was the "secondary school recommendation" like in terms of how did you contact them and how to maximize its benefit?</p>

<p>The counselor I had the first three years of high school quit right before my freshman applications, and the counselor that got hired for my senior year has now switched jobs and so I don't even know who my counselor analogically would be right now.</p>

<p>I thought most schools didn’t ask for that stuff after a certain amount of credits.</p>

<p>This is not a problem and should be routine for your secondary school.</p>

<p>Typical process:

  1. you contact Guidance Office of your secondary school.
  2. Provide list/addresses of places you’re applying for transfer. (or SASE for each)
  3. School sends out the package they originally sent out for your freshman apps (transcripts/recs/guidance counselor form)</p>

<p>I do not expect they will write anything new at all.</p>
