More schools to look into:

University of Pittsburgh
Syracuse University–MA Political Science/and Certificate of Security Studies at same time
Georgetown–extremely competitive and expensive
University of Denver

It will be cheaper in the UK, even allowing for intl fees.

Brunel University for instance, housing the UK’s only centre for intelligence studies and running the UK’s only college simulation excercise, charges foreign students about £10,000 or $15000.

^

Several midrank intelligence officers I know have attended intelligence courses in the UK. They say the Brunel University analytical simulation exercise is one of a kind.

I cant quit my job now. Are there any part-time/online programs in the security and intelligence studies ? I heard very good things about the University of Buckingham’s program (BUCSIS), sadly that is full-time and in UK :-(

I’m looking for schools that have the best rank in terms of faculty, program and visibility.

Honestly, I think a lot of these programs will be friendly to part-time students. Most schools offering these programs are located near major government/military hubs, and a lot (sometimes ALL) of their students are going to be working professionals.
