My son is at Cornell and loves it there. In three years, the weather has never been worse than in Connecticut... always sunny when it's raining here... maybe a little more snow. I just came home from bringing my daughter , who also got accepted there, to visit. She kept saying... " this is more like a resort than a college"... it is absolutely beautiful there. My only gripe is the parking tickets... they are brutal up there about parking.

Congrats on Cornell! It's a great school and never doubt your decision!

I get some remarks about Duke.. these days I tell people, "I haven't heard that one before!", when they say, "heh heh.. so you's goin' to Duke, you's playin' on the lacrosse team?"

For some people, I can just be like.. "Eh, I just got some random thick letter from this school called Duke and I decided, 'What the hell', can't hurt to go there." :p!

in the words of some ppl on the other "most prestigious college admissions discussion board in the world, Cornell is TTT.

Wait, whaaaat? What is TTT?

TTT
Schools ranked in third tier according to US News & World Report. Typically used by pre law students on the Princeton Review Board, x o x o h t h .com board to refer to schools that they consider "beneath" them based on their LSAT/GPA scores.

Pace Law is a total TTT!

also

TTT
Third tier toilet. Generally used by loser dorks on x o x o h t h .com as a pejorative term for law schools that are not prestigious, aka Top 14 law schools. To the faggots on xoxohtm.com, a law school is either a TTT or a Top 14 school, there is no in-between.

Vanderbilt Law School is ranked #17 according the US News and World Report, but it is still a TTT because it isn't in the Top 14; it doesn't matter how close a school's ranking is to the top 14, if it is not in the Top 14, it is automatically a TTT.
