==Self-Reporting Scores?==

I heard some threads back that we self report AP scores on the application. Individual school sites say also you send and enroll then.

My English is not that good, but what this mean? The school trust the applicant, or what? Do you send real report after acceptance?

you send the real report after you enroll. you self-report on the app. it is kind of on the honor system.

Can you write AP Scholar with Distinction on your app but only choose to list scores for 3 tests on the apps? (assuming you actually did receive the AP Scholar with Distinction)

What about lying people-do they also accept?

well Physics08...if u received Scholar with Distinction...u have at least 5 good scores since u need 5 passing scores to receive that award

Well...lets say you received 3 5's and 2 3's. That would qualify for the award but you only want to report the 5's since 3's for some colleges aren't eligible for credit. Can you only choose to report the 5's and still write AP Scholar with Distinction on apps??? Will colleges find out about the 3's?

well they will probably realize that you chose not to report two scores which they might recognize is a little shady. seriously though, outside of CC a three is not really a terrible score. don't be afraid to report it!

"What about lying people-do they also accept?" Trix-D

Yeah, I'm wondering about that too.

colleges trust the applicants.. you will send them the ap scores for credit when u get accepted and they will catch that you lied..
and lying on an application is grounds for dismissal from the school..
