I'm a sophmore in Chemistry and I was wondering should take the A.P. Chemistry class next year or should I supplement my studies this year and take the A.P. chem exam this year? What would be the best idea? Also is the A.P. Chem Exam hard or easy? Thank you so much.

Also what about A.P. Biology? I saw the Pricenton Review's book and it looked so easy. I think I might self-study that one. A.P. Chem might be a bit hard.

I thought bio was extremely easy. Then again, I took honors biology freshman year and studied like hell to get a good score on the SAT II. I used all my SAT II + class knowledge a year later and, after only one day of review and no AP class, easily got a 5.

I don't know how hard chem is though... I'm pretty sure it's harder than bio, though.

It really depends on which one you're more interested in - because that's the one you'll be more inclined to study more. I loved bio, so studying for the SAT II and AP was a dream come true :P.
