Hi guys, I am planning on taking AP Physics B next year.
I graduated from HS already and having 1 year off from university to study+volunteer.
I am trying to change a major and I have to take Physics B but I haven't taken Physics in high school; so basically no knowledge on it. I took Chemistry and got good grades, so I guess I'm not a 100% science-stupid person.

I studied few chapters on it and I already found it hard, albeit very interesting. I am very eager and determined to learn about Physics. However I see people posting here that Physics is hard to self-study and since I know nothing of it, it seems impossible to get 5 on this exam.

Anyone got advice how to prepare for this test? Thanks you =))

Yes, it is possible to self-study AND earn a 5. However, based on your background (I’m not sure whether you’ve taken any other comparable courses, i.e. AP Chem, etc.) it will be difficult, but not impossible if you are willing to work. You also need a decently strong math background through pre-calculus if you want to do well. Otherwise, the only thing between you and the 5 is the amount of effort you put forward. If you decide now that you will not get a 5, you won’t. If you really want to, you can. Henry Ford was truly correct when he said, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t-- you’re right.”
