Tell me a little somthin' about physics.

Okay, so i'm considering self studying AP Physics B. here's my question:

How self "studyable" is AP Physics B?

is it more closely related to:

Enviro Sci ( extremely easy to self study)?
or
Biology ( a doable Science to Self study)?
or
Chemistry (a science that's not really reccomended for self studying)?
or
Physics C: E&M ( don't even think about self studying this)?

thanx for the help :)

ps: i know that this question is somewhat objective, and depends on the person. However, i would like to know what the general opinion is. (i.e: Enviro sci is generally easy, but some may find it hard). So please, don't tell me if it's easy/hard for you, tell me what the general "theory" is.

If you have never taken a Physics class before I would not recommend self studying Physics.

I'm taking it right now and it's my first Physics class ever. I'm finding it pretty difficult (although that may be because the teacher is horrid).

chemistry.

I think self-studying Physics B is doable.

I'd say it's a lot tougher than self-studying Bio. Heck, Bio screams self-study. I'd say it's tougher to self-study than Chem, but Chem is not that tough. Take a billion practice exams in Physics B, and you'll survive. Like Chem, it also has a generous curve. Go for it.

If you've never taken physics before, probably like chemistry. If you have, maybe a little harder than bio.

I'll be taking honors physics in school.

You are just like me. I am doing the same thing except I have a teacher in school that can help me out. It is possible, though, even without a good reference. But it is definitely not easy. Physics B and C both require time, effort, multiple problems, and devotion.

I'm self-studying for Physics B. The PR book is recommended for this right? (note: I've taken physics honors next year but I don't really understand the concepts well still)
