Self studying AP euro in 2 months

So its may the and the AP test is on march 7th. I have exactly 2 months to study for euro. Im not in Euro though, im in World history AP. My only AP class as a sophmore :(. I still want that damn Euro credit however. I got a TextBook from my teacher, its nice and clean, and i checked out a clean copy of AP euro crash course book. I Really want a 4 on this exam and its spring break so i have an entire week and more to study and get ahead. How can i go about this. Thank you.

  • I was planning on reading the entire book but im also looking for efficiency. Thanks

Umm, no.
It’s MARCH and the AP test is on MAY 8TH.

That aside, you’re on the right track with the crash course book.
Keep in mind that everything in AP Euro is c. 1450 to the present (unlike AP World)

First, I suggest that you go through that ENTIRE crash course thing. Now.
Make sure to keep note of which topics you aren’t familiar with (probably things that weren’t covered during AP World)

After that - go into that textbook and take notes/read about the topics that you are unfamiliar with.

Certain topics that were covered in AP World should be your last priority: just review them quickly (unless you are very unfamiliar with them)
Ex: French Revolution, Overseas Colonization, Cold War, WW1, WW2, Russian Revolution.

Also, check some sample essays, just so you are aware of the three essay formats that you’ll have. http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/members/exam/exam_information/2085.html

tbh, I’m not sure if self-studying AP Euro (and getting a 4-5) in 2 months is doable. I’m taking the class right now and it’s a time consuming class with a lot of information. Why do you need to get the credit? You have 2 more years of high school to take AP Euro.

I’m taking 5 AP and 2 honors next year. No space :stuck_out_tongue:
Yea that was a typo with the march thing

Well, I meant if you have space sometime in the future, even if it’s senior year :stuck_out_tongue:
