Anyone self-studying or taking AP Euro?

Hey, last yr i took ap wld (soph) and i got a 5. Now, this yr i wanna study AP Euro but i think it is WAy to late to start. I have LOTS of background knowledge from my 9th grade history class (I took a practice exam and got half of them right)
i looked at some websites and teachers go crazy w/ assignments and readings-- even if i start now, i cant read ALL those primary sources and books.

I am waiting until next week for the new 2008 editions of PR and I plan on self-studying using PR and Modern European History.

as am i. good stuff!
but a teacher told me that just memorizing the study book on your own is fine, you know.

Since you already know a lot from World History, you should be fine. But just look through some prep books, practice tests, and maybe a good textbook and see how you feel about the material.

If you got half right (and answer the free response questions moderately well), you're in pretty good shape considering that there are 4 months left to study.

i am planning on self-studying too. are you guys using a textbook, or just prep books?

it won't be too difficult i think. i took ap world as a freshman (5) and am in ap us and ap euro this year. and by far, ap euro is the easiest. it's basically just a little more in-depth than ap world's euro sections. just get princeton review or something and you should be fine...

on the other hand, ap ush is a whole other story...
