Self Studying AP? HELP!

Hi! I am currently a sophomore and next year I will only be taking APUSH and AP English. I feel like I should be taking 3 APs my junior year so I am thinking about self studying AP Macro, as I will be majoring in it in college (hopefully at Colgate University). However, I am getting mixed responses saying it’s mostly common sense and is easy to self study and others saying the concepts are hard to understand.

What do you think?
Also, if you self study an AP and you do bad, colleges won’t know right?

You might as well self study both micro and macro 4 ap’s should be more than manageable for a junior. Just make sure you get review books for them all and use ACDC video supplements on youtube to learn concepts. (for econ)
