Semester Abroad?

Hey guys!

Okay, so I got admission in DU, LSR to be specific. I'm doing English Hons, and I wanted to know is there any good student exchange/Sem abroad program.

I wanted to do my undergrad abroad, but it's not viable OR useful, specially becase I want to appear for the UPSC.

So, any help? :)

You will get the best answers at DU. There must be a dedicated office for such inquiries, I presume.
Congratulations on Lady Shri Ram!

There isn’t :(

And I would actually like to go for a third party exchange, because DU’s standard maintenance is dubious, to say the least.

And thank you! It was daaamn tough, and quite heart-breaking (no Stephen’s), but oh well.

You can do summer abroad through this organization. You could even try taking a Shakespeare course during the summer at Oxford if you qualify.

I can imagine how tough it could have been! I think you were helped?

I can vouch for AIESEC. A friend loved his experience in Turkey from Hindu.

Also, I like your name.

I changed my major from English to History! (Still LSR, though)

Anything specific I can do?

hey is it possible to change majors in DU???

Yeah yeah. I went through the whole admission rut. The thing is I got admission to LSR in English AND History in the first list, and I went and took admission in Eng(hons).

THEN I realized I didn’t see myself doing English, so I went on the second day and took admission in History instead :)

Nah, I did everything myself. DU’s fairly easy. No essays and whatnot. Got NYU and St. Andrews, par paise pedh pe nahi ughte :P

(If any non-desi is reading this, it means that money doesn’t grow on trees)

Lol at pedh pe paise.

Who were you even replying to?

NYU is out of the world.but lsr is good in its place.instead of semester abroad u can go to summer schools like the london summer school by london school of economics.it offers courses in many fields and not only economics
