Semesters at CC

So, I'm likely going to be at my local CC for the next 1-2 years trying to transfer into a solid business program my junior year. I'm coming from Purdue University (freshman), I currently have a 3.83 GPA and that is more than likely to hold this semester as well.

The problem is, my first semester I took a lot of credits that are no longer applicable to my desired major. With that in mind, I may have to take an extra semester of classes at community college to make up the credits I lost (for lack of a better term) my first semester here. So, if I were to do a summer session this summer (which I am), then do fall and spring terms full time, then do another summer session, then do one more fall term (putting my total semesters at 5, counting the two here at Purdue), will I be looked at in a negative light for taking longer than 4 semesters to make a junior year transfer? I don't have much of a choice because of what I took my first semester. The credits for the most part aren't transferable, so in my mind it should read like I didn't even go to college for that semester, even though I like my high GPA.

Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on this matter? Thanks a lot in advance.
