SEMI URGENT NOOB ?s PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME

So telebears phase two appointment today:

If I’m waitlisted for one class, can I sign up for another class during the same time slot?

With a waitlist of one person right now, I should be able to get into History 4A without much trouble right?

Any recommendations for a good one unit class to meet the baseline thirteen required for Letters and Science? Other than decals…

Thanks in advance :)

I Don't Know. Never tried that.

Yes.

Astronomy C10/L&S C70U with Filippenko. I would have taken it but it won't fit my schedule. Almost 300 available seats left.

Thanks Golden Bear, I was considering taking Applied Anatomy 131A because someone recommended it here on an LJ Post:

And said you just have to turn in three interesting things from each lecture at the end of the semester to get credit for the class. What do you have to do in the Astro C10 class? I'm looking for the easiest one unit possible!

Cardinal, are you taking education 198? I think there's a few open spots in my section.

^Nope, not yet. I shall now though...I kinda wanted to get lost in a big lecture though...

In any case, did you see our yield rate! We've won the ED round :)

Hahaha, sweet. It's working. I'll PM you with the section number and you can see if it works for you.

Hahaha, aight. Do you know the answer to my number question btw?

My bad, Astro C10 isn't one unit, I missed that part. It's a 4 unit class but is one of the best courses overall at Cal.

Yes, you can schedule two classes in the same time slot.

I actually managed to take a 9-10 and a 930-1100 class all of last semester (took one of them p/np, of course)!

I would advise against it. Usually when you've waitlisted a class, you still show up and just hope you get in.

Haha, its cool GoldenBear. Maybe, I'll take it somewhere down the line...I've always had an interest in astronomy but I've never taken a formal class.

Pookdogg, that is gangsta! haha, thanks for the info. I think Imma sign up for both classes because I want to finalize my decision once the effin myspace gets back up (so I can see more prof reviews of these two)...:)

Bump, MrMuir, I have class at that time.

I guess our primary interaction will be the club, which isn't too shabby after all. :D
