Wait Listed in 2 classes... Advice?

<p>So I've got kind of a random schedule so far... I'm enrolled in Arabic 1A (personal interest), Computer Science 61A (Cog Sci prereq), and wait listed for the following two classes: </p>

<p>History of Art 35 (Breadth, number 6 on the waitlist)
Cognitive Science C100 (Cogsci req, about 42/75 enrolled, I'm 49 on the wait list)</p>

<p>I've never been wait listed before, so I'm kind of worried about all this. I'm technically only enrolled in 9 units... Are my chances good for at least getting into one of those classes? Any kind words to ease my mind? :P</p>

<p>Your Cognitive Science C100 is a manual waitlist - I’ve heard of some people emailing the instructor(s) to “pick me, pick me!” first?</p>

<p>P.S. I was actually going to take Hist. of Art 35 but I dropped it >_X</p>

<p>hey tyrion, since you’re a cog sci major, I was wondering if you knew: is Math 1A a pre req for CS 61A?
Because right now Im signed up for Math 16A and I really really dont want to switch into Math 1 A :(</p>
