I’ve wanted to do the page program since I’ve been in middle school. As a sophomore now, I was glad to finally be able to apply for the program! However, I scoured both of my senator’s pages, and there is no sign of a place where I can apply! I live in New Jersey and am quite baffled! Why isn’t there a place I can apply? Is the program discontinued or simply not available for people who live in New Jersey? Thanks!
Hi there! The program was not discontinued, but your senators, unfortunately, can not nominate a page at the moment. When pages are awarded to Senators, it is done by seniority of the party they are affiliated with. Your best chance is to apply with Senator Bob Menendz since he he may have a chance to receive a page.
Since its not on the website, the best thing to do is to call the Washington DC office and inquire about it.

Call the office! Even if there is a place on a website! It’s very important to make that personal connection with the people in the office who will be reading the applications. As a former Page, I have kept in touch with my initial connection in my senators office through the whole process and beyond!
