Send ACT score

So I just registered for my ACT test and it says that I can list up to 6 colleges to send my scores to... Do I have to list them now? Can't I send it once I know what my score is instead of just sending it to schools without even knowing what I received?
Thanks

yes you can wait (I’m assuming you are registering online).

Yes, wait. Sending without knowing what your score is VERY dumb. No point in doing that. You will be able to send it after you find out about the score as well.

Hey, I wonder what would happen if you sent the score previously and skipped out on the test.

Would ACT just not send anything (most likely), or would they tell the college you didn’t show up, because that would be bad.

If you send the scores before you take the test, or in the window after the test - it is for free. If you wait until you get the score, it costs extra, for each score.

Ooo, interesting.

My hypothetical question still stands.
