I scored better on all sections the second time I took the ACT except for science. The first time my composite score was 2 points lower. Should I send both scores so they can see my good science score or just send the highest score?
(My ED school doesn't superscore the ACT but rather looks at the highest scores from each section)
I just don't want them to see my first score if it's going to effect my chance of admittance.
PLEASE HELP

I am a bit confused by your sentence “My ED school doesn’t superscore the ACT but rather looks at the highest scores from each section.” That is superscoring – if a school takes your highest score from each individual section test, that is superscoring. But if they only take the highest composite single-test-date score, that is different.

If your ED school does not superscore, without knowing how different your science scores were, I would just send the highest single date. Since a 2-pt composite increase and science going down a bit means your other 3 really increased.

Ok thanks, but on the website it says that “we don’t superscore the ACT but we will consider the highest scores for each section of your test”, so I’m a little confused too.

I think I might just send the one score, but it’s my ED school so I’m really nervous :’(

Interesting, I think that they are saying they don’t superscore but they will look at the different tests. Meaning, they are encouraging kids to send multiple tests dates. I don’t think sending both will hurt you.

Just so you have an idea, my schools average test score is 29 and I received a 24 and then a 26 on my exams. I’m scared the 24 will really hurt me.
