Now that UC apps are coming to a close, I've been putting last minute touches on it but I still haven't entered my test scores. Since junior year I've tremendously improved my GPA (from 3.9 to 4.3) and have okay ECs. I guess what I'm worried about is that I did soooo poorly on my standardized testing. On my SAT I scored an 1880 (cr+m=1240.....) and on my ACT a 29 composite. I'm retaking the act in December and have FULL confidence that I'll be able to increase my score into the 30s. So I guess my question is, since my SAT is so bad for the UCs should I even submit it at all? How do the two scores compare? I'm short on time so answers asap and soo so so greatly appreciated!!

Don’t omit any scores to the UCs. They will see all the scores anyway, so if you omit it, when they see it anyway, they’ll think you’re trying to hide a score, etc.

Just send all your scores in, even if you drop.

@IAmTheGOAT Well I’m even more confused now because I’ve always been told that they only see the scores you send? I’m not so much worried about thinking I’m “hiding” them, but just curious as to which looks better: the act or sat score? Would it hurt me to send both or is it better to go on a whim and just send the act. If I’m retaking in December, how will I be able to confirm that they even got those scores? Sorry I have so many questions, this process is just confusing to me.
